Izanami hated this mission... with a passion.

When she first arrived in Kōsetsumura, she had caught a cold, which she was just getting over, and now she was sick again. She felt drained and couldn't seem to keep up with her fellow ninja. And when she wasn't stopping to catch her breath, she was stopping to vomit. So now not only was she fatigued and sick but she was hungry too, not that she could keep anything down except for water.

Too exhausted to keep up with her usual bubbly disposition, the kunoichi groaned in irritation and scowled. When will this mission end? She asked herself. Nausea quickly coming back, she decided not soon enough. Izanami trudged along behind the rest of the group, grumbling incoherent [curse] words under her breath. For once her in life she didn't want to talk to anyone; Izanami just wanted to be left alone

Maybe, that was taking it too far. She couldn't go a full day with out being around people and hated being left alone. So she guessed she'd take that back but still she didn't have the energy to have a conversation with anyone. She figured this let everyone off the hook before she started feeling better. Izanami giggled at thought of some of her companions becoming annoyed with her [non-stop] talking. Her frown was replaced by a small smile, that made her look more like herself.

She decided to think more on the positive and less on the negative. After all, she was alive wasn't she? Though in the back of her mind, she couldn't help but think not for long [jokingly... for the most part]. And at least she didn't get a heat stroke. Those two were high on her list of positives, along with getting a "little" sun. She wasn't pale but a tan never hurt anyone! The negatives easily came to mind, like for example her feet were killing her and she couldn't keep anything down.

"Stay positive," Izanami mumbled to herself feeling herself fall back into a more pessimistic mood. Literally what was the point of listing the positive, if all she was going to do was continue to have the same attitude. She sighed and continued to repeat the mantra to herself. If you said things enough, it was sure to happen. She was pretty sure she heard that from someone before. Yeah, she was sure that went hand in hand with you control your attitude. Besides, she was sure too much frowning caused wrinkles, something she was just too young for.

Another reason the kunoichi felt she stay positive was she needed to focus keeping as much energy as she could just in case she needed to use her medical skills. Izanami was sure she would only be able to focus on a couple of people, which disappointed her. How was she going to realize her dreams if she couldn't even do her job properly?

Izanami let out an exasperated sigh. No wonder I'm still a genin. She thought to herself, shaking her head.
2A. Good News; Bad News:
The bad news is - It turns out the desert team has failed; numerous shinobi got captured in a heavily militarized zone.
The good news is - It turns out things are quiet, Ihaigakure hasn't struck in a day - I think it's safe for us to leave and aid them.
We'll have to march westward through the Snow to aid our allies - Be warned though, the climate change over the journey will be rapid.
The Land of Snow may reach temperatures of below -40 °C, but the Land of Canyon's reaches even higher than home with 40 °C and upwards.
Same rule as before about weather resistance - Characters with Stamina below 2.0 will suffer fatigue and get sick!

     Your Task:
Draw or Write about your character traversing from the Land of Snow to the Land of Canyons,
the transition is rapid, and my unearth some sickness and unease within the ranks.
Same rule as before about weather resistance - Characters with Stamina below 2.0 will suffer fatigue and get sick!

I tried my hand at writing for the first time since I was thirteen. :iconpapcryplz: I think it's ok for my first time since around the eighth grade but I know I have a lot to improve on and hopefully improvment will be made. xDD
